Even though there is nothing but a long, wide straight piece of track ahead, this is a common place to get in trouble. Be prepared for a bouncing ride as you drift across the track to the right. The track is wide here, and you should be willing to use it all.
Do NOT lift or pinch the turn, or you may find yourself sliding up the embankment sideways, backwards, or in some other non-optimal attitude (note tracks leading off the left side of the photo…). Stay on the throttle and let the car track out. If you are about to be passed, still stay on the throttle and let the car track out, then let the other car by once you are going straight and fully under control. Did I say you are going fast here? Respect it, and this will be one of the most thrilling turn sequences you will find. Get sloppy, and you will get hurt.
